§ Mr. SproatMy Department has received 16 letters from right hon. and hon. Members and 130 from members of the public on the subject of a mid-week Lottery. The licensing of a midweek draw was a matter for the Director General of the National Lottery, subject to the provisions set out in section 4 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993.
