§ Mr. David DavisWe have urged the Turkish authorities to implement the recommendations made following the visits of the European committee for the prevention of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment to Turkey, and to publish three reports. We welcomed the Turkish Government's decision to invite the committee to make a further visit to Turkey in August to look at prison conditions.
