§ Mr. Raymond S. RobertsonThe Scottish Office Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries Department's marine laboratory in Aberdeen regularly monitors contaminant levels at Garroch Head. All results of this monitoring programme are published or are available for public inspection. Fish analyses show that detected levels of contamination are well below internationally agreed limits. The marine laboratory's monitoring programme will continue up to and beyond 1998, when sewage sludge dumping in UK waters will cease.
