To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the control rooms in each police constabulary which Ministry of Defence police may(a) broadcast to and (b) receive calls from, via their personal radios. [27808]

Where necessary, local arrangements exist to enable Ministry of Defence police officers to be in two-way radio contact with Home Office constabularies. I am aware that the following forces in England and Wales have entered into such local arrangements:

  • Avon and Somerset
  • Cheshire
  • Devon and Cornwall
  • Dorset
  • Essex
  • Gloucestershire
  • Gwent
  • Hampshire
  • Kent
  • Lancashire
  • Merseyside
  • Metropolitan
  • North Wales
  • North Yorkshire
  • South Wales
  • Staffordshire
  • Suffolk
  • Surrey
  • Sussex
  • Thames Valley
  • Wiltshire
