§ Mr. HanleySome 21 per cent.—£39.3 million—of total UK aid commitments in 1994 and 1995 for improved reproductive health—£184 million—was allocated specifically for HIV-AIDS projects and programmes, including the provision of condoms. In addition, a significant number of reproductive health projects approved during this period include prevention of HIV transmission as one of several objectives.
