§ Mr. RichardsNo estimates have been made of the numbers of disabled people by category in each local authority. Information currently available relating to the number of disabled persons registered under section 29 of the National Assistance Act 1948 in each of the former county councils is given in the following table. Similar information has been requested from each local authority and will be available later in 1996.
