§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe remediation of contaminated land is one of English Partnerships' key objectives and high priority is given to the regeneration of sites suffering from contamination. In 1994–95, English Partnerships regenerated 1,700 hectares of vacant, derelict or contaminated land.
