To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (1) how many veterinary officers and technical assistants were involved on(a) 13 February, (b) 14 February, (c) 15 February and (d) 16 February, in lairages near Dover, in inspecting animals to ensure that they were fit to travel under the Welfare of Animals During Transportation Order 1994 and to deal with other related matters; [20772]

(2) how many consignments containing calves on 13, 14, 15 and 16 February were inspected by his veterinary officers and technical assistants; and how many hours were spent in carrying out the inspections. [20771]
