§ Mr. RichardsInformation on the number of patients registered with general dental practitioners in Wales was collected centrally—by the Dental Practice Board—for the first time at the end of 1990. However, as it took some time for patients to register, meaningful data were not available until 1991. The available information is given in the following table:
