To ask the Secretary of State for Transport what estimates his Department has made of future traffic flows for the M66 between Denton and Middleton in both directions. [18254]

The Secretary of State for Transport has asked me to reply to your recent question about future traffic flows on the M66 Manchester Outer Ring Road.The traffic levels do vary along the length of the motorway, so I have set out below the flows for the sections between the junctions. These forecasts are based on 16 hour daily flows.
