§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonFinancial support of up to £8.2 million is available to Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd. for the financial year 1996–97. Planned provision for 1997–98 is set out in "Serving Scotland's Needs", the Government's expenditure plans for 1996–97 to 1998–99 for the Departments of my right hon. Friend and for the Forestry Commission. It is £8 million, rounded to the nearest £ million.
