To ask the Lord President of the Council what account the Government's tackling drugs strategy has taken of the use of(a) Khat, (b) GHB and (c) Cake in the United Kingdom. [38969]

Mr. Newton

The Government's "Tackling Drugs Together" strategy focuses on controlled drugs under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971. The ministerial sub-committee of the Cabinet on the misuse of drugs, which I chair, keeps under review the position on all other drugs.
