§ Mr. HoramThe Access to Health Records Act 1990 allows the record holder to charge a fee of up to £10. A similar fee is permitted when access is sought under the Data Protection Act 1984. Where a copy of a record or extract is supplied, the Access to Health Records Act also permits a charge to be made to cover the cost of making the copy and of any postage.
