To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment how many(a) Government, (b) housing association and (c) council-owned homes there were in (i) York, (ii) North Yorkshire, (iii) Yorkshire and Humberside and (iv) England; and what percentage of these houses were empty, on 1 April of each year since 1979.
