§ Mr. HoramThe Department of Health issued guidance on 15 March 1996 asking National Health Service Executive regional offices to have a role in designation of cancer centres, facilitating the local work of health authorities, general practitioners, and trusts, particularly on cross district issues. Regional co-ordinators are expected to help develop a regional strategy.
