asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they consider themselves in any way still bound, by the terms of the 1917 Balfour Declaration, by which their predecessors sought "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people…it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done to prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine…"

We support Israel's right to exist. We also support the principle of self-determination for the Palestinian people, and the right of all religions to have freedom of access to the Holy Places. We support UN Security Council Resolutions 242 and 338.
