Mr. Turner

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what discussions have taken place since the announcement of the Government's expenditure plans for the period 1996–97 to 1998–99 between her officials and representative bodies in respect of future funding levels for(a) schools, (b) further education and (c) universities. Ministers and officials have had a number of meetings with representative bodies to discuss the future funding of schools, further education and universities since the announcement of the Government's expenditure plans for the period 1996–97 to 1998–99.
