§ Mr. JackPFI contracts seek to procure public services which flow from capital invested by the private sector. Proposals to achieve an appropriate accounting treatment for PFI projects under resource accounting will be examined by the independent financial reporting advisory board to the Treasury which has been set up in response to the wishes of Parliament.
