§ Mr. Simpson
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many jobs are provided by the Defence Exports Services Organisation; and at what cost to public funds. [36593]

§ Mr. Arbuthnot
During 1996–97, the Defence Export Services Organisation will employ 686 staff—including project staff whose costs do not come out of public funds—at an estimated cost to public funds of £12.784 million.

§ Mr. Simpson
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what was the cost to public funds of the Defence Exports Services Organisation in each year since 1991. [36596]
