§ Sir George YoungThe contracts for tugs at Stornoway and Dover provide for their return to station on 1 October. As my noble Friend the Minister for Aviation and Shipping announced on 17 June, the Coastguard Agency will seek tenders for an additional emergency towing vessel to be stationed on the south-west approaches for six months from 1 October. As in previous years, no contracted tugs are stationed during the summer months.
