To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will make a statement on his policy in respect of funding by private finance initiative of capital projects designed to improve traffic flow at motorway junctions. [34698]

Such projects are generally classified as small-scale improvements and are not large enough to be considered for separate funding under PFI.
