§ Mr. Raymond S. RobertsonIn the past five years, more than £5 million has been spent on investors in people in Scotland. This money is not allocated directly to individual organisations but is used by Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to fund advisers based in local enterprise companies, to fund the assessment body, Investors in People Scotland, and for promotional work. It is not possible to assess the value of support given to each of the 1,762 organisations formally committed to IIP or the 329 organisations which have achieved the standard.
