Ms Roseanna Cunningham

To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department how many English High Court actions in cases falling within the terms of the Civil Jurisdiction and Judgments Act 1982, schedule 8 rule 3, were raised against defenders domiciled in Scotland in each year since 1990 and in the first half of 1996. [35944]

The question concerns a specific operational matter on which the chief executive of the Court Service is best placed to provide an answer and I have accordingly asked the chief executive to reply direct.
