§ Mr. BowisIt is for individual local authorities and probation services to identify the needs of their staff for training in forensic social work and to make appropriate arrangements. The competencies and training guidance in forensic social work which the Department of Health commissioned from the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work, offers guidance to local authorities and probation services on how this can be achieved.
