To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many permits issued to individuals who are incapacitated for the purposes of the Agricultural Wages (Scotland) Act 1949 for the payment of lower minimum rates are currently in force; and what is their distribution by rates of pay.

There are seven permits in force. They are distributed as shown in the table.
