(2) what procedures were used by his Department in awarding contracts for the supply of mobile and car phones to his Department and its executive agencies; and which companies were involved in tendering for these contracts. [9768]
§ Mr. BurtThe Department does not currently have any agreements for the provision of mobile telephones. Each request for the supply of a mobile telephone is dealt with individually and following established public sector procurement procedures, the order is placed with the supplier that offers the most economically advantageous terms.
The information relating to the provision of mobile telephones that is readily available is shown in the table. information for earlier years could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.
