§ Mr. Hanley[holding answer 9 January 1996]: UK support to global humanitarian mine clearance operations in the last three financial years is as follows:
- 1993–94: £3.15 million
- 1994–95: £5.91 million
- 1995–96: £3.65 million (to date).
In addition the UK's share of European Community support for mine clearance is some £3.37 million since 1992.
