Further to his Answer of 12 December (WA 106), what are the reasons why the new Supply and Service Agreement with HMSO will not enable Members of both Houses to obtain Hansard CD-ROM without charge.

The Supply and Service Agreement sets out the terms under which HMSO agrees to supply the House with printing and publishing services. The question whether the House should buy archive copies of Hansard on CD-ROM for supply to Members free of charge is a matter for the House.
