To ask the President of the Board of Trade what equipment not classified as military but having military applications is currently being exported from the United Kingdom to Indonesia; and if he will take steps to halt such supplies or orders. [17226]

There is a vast range of manufactured products capable of military use, only a small proportion of which are licensable.

In respect of licensable goods, it has been the practice of successive Governments not to reveal details of export licenses or applications for export licenses.
