Whether British embassies in other member 2ountries of the European Communities are required to monitor the implementation and enforcement of EC Laws in those countries.

Baroness Chalker of Wallasey:

British embassies in other EU Member States report on the full range of EU business, including the implementation of Community law. This helps us to ensure that the Commission carries out its responsibilities for monitoring the application of EC legislation across the Community.
