§ Mr. SproatThe Torbay picture house is included as a grade II building in the statutory list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State has no plans to change its protected status. Any application for listed building consent in respect of works to the building would be a matter for the local planning authority in the first instance.
