§ Mr. HagueNegotiations between health departments and the representative body of the profession are under way about the terms of proposed changes to the funding and management arrangements of GP accommodation. The aim is to implement the changes in 1996–97 and £870,000 has been reserved for that purpose. This is additional to the provisional general medical services allocation to health authorities for that year.
