HL Deb 05 February 1996 vol 569 cc4-5WA
Lord Beaumont of Whitley

asked Her Majesty's Government:

When they estimate that the computerisation of the treaties by which the United Kingdom is bound will be completed and therefore when Members of Parliament will be able to discover what obligations the country has without "disproportionate cost" (H.L. Deb., col. WA 51, 22 January).

Lord Chesham:

It is estimated that it will take at least four years to complete the computerisation of all treaty records.
