To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what new moneys he plans to give to Alyn and Deeside district council to enable the authority to modernise more of its housing stock; if he will visit Alyn and Deeside district council and undertake a tour of inspection of the older council estates; and if he will make a statement. Mr. Gwilym Jones

My right hon. Friend and I have no plans to change Alyn and Deeside district council's housing capital allocations or to visit council estates in the area. It is for the local authority to determine capital spending priorities.
