To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what estimate he has made of the number of days at work which were lost in 1995 due to food poisoning from(a) salmonella, (b) campylobacter, (c) listeria, (d) E. coli 0157 and (e) other causes; and if he will make a statement. [9139]

This information is not available. The Labour Force Survey collects information on sickness absence, but does not ask respondents about the diagnosis of the cause of their sickness absence.
