asked Her Majesty's Government:

What is their estimate of the number of (a) refugees; and (b) displaced people, in each country of the Great Lakes area of Africa.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees currently estimates the numbers of refugees and internally displaced people (IDPs) in the countries of the Great Lakes region to be as follows:
