To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how many cases of rickets have been reported in each of the last five years. [6551]

There is no requirement for the number of cases of rickets to be reported centrally in Northern Ireland. However, the following table shows the numbers of in-patients, with a primary diagnosis of rickets, who were treated in hospital in Northern Ireland in each of the last five years.
