To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment what is the projected total grant to the Further Education Funding Council in 1996–97, 1997–98, 1998–99 and 1999–2000 in(a) cash terms and (b) real terms, using the current GDP deflator; and what is the percentage change from year to year in each case.
