HC Deb 02 December 1996 vol 286 c497W
37. Mr. MacShane

To ask the Attorney-General what assessment he has made of the(a) rate of progress and (b) efficiency of prosecutions arising from fraud cases covered by the Personal Investment Authority; and if he will make a statement. [5207]

The Solicitor-General

Cases covered by the Personal Investment Authority are not separately identified in statistics relating to the prosecution of fraud. I have no reason to believe that such cases are prosecuted any differently from other fraud cases.
