§ Mr. SoamesFollowing the events of 1974, the Turkish Cypriot population now lives in the Turkish-controlled area to the north of the UN-patrolled buffer zone. No Turkish Cypriots are registered for employment in the catchment area for the western sovereign base area. The employment of Cypriot personnel within the WSBA reflects this position.
