§ Mr. Geoffrey RobinsonTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will detail full-time and part-time hourly average earnings, inclusive and exclusive of overtime, and annual percentage increases in earnings, inclusive and exclusive of overtime, for(a) all workers formerly covered by wages councils, (b) workers formerly covered by the clothing manufacture, licensed residential and licensed restaurant, licensed non-residential, hairdressing, retail food wage councils allied trades and retail trades non-food and (c) all worker using the matched samples from the 1994 and 1995 new earnings surveys. § Mrs. Angela Knight[holding answer 26 October 1995]: The new earnings survey records for 1995 are due to be combined with the database of employees formerly covered by wages councils within the next two months. Once that has been done, we shall know whether the results are statistically reliable.
