§ Lord James Douglas-Hamilton[holding answer 23 October 1995]: The Aberdeen Royal Hospitals NHS trust and the Highland Communities NHS trust have reported to the Scottish Office Department of Health forecast deficits for 1995–96. These matters are being addressed by the trusts and health boards concerned and by the Department. All NHS trusts are required by statute to publish an annual report and audited accounts at the appropriate time.
