Justices of the peace are appointed to serve in county court divisions. Details of the number of justices of the peace per 1,000 persons in each division in Northern Ireland are as follows:

  • Ards: 1.7
  • Antrim: 1.3
  • Armagh and South Down: 1.6
  • Belfast: 2.0
  • Craigavon: 2.0
  • Fermanagh and Tyrone: 1.0
  • Londonderry: 2.0.
