§ Mr. EggarThere are no funds directly available to textile businesses to set up training schools. Training facilities are available to support the textile industry in colleges in the north-west. Their provision is kept under review by the Further Education Funding Council in consultation with north-west training and enterprise councils, which are responsible for assessing the local labour market needs.
