HC Deb 27 November 1995 vol 267 c433W
Mr. Sutcliffe

To ask the President of the Board of Trade when he will have finished consideration of points of law in the case of Mr. Michael Johnson; and when he hopes to conclude the case. [2260]

Mr. Johnathan Evans

[holding answer 24 November 1995:]: Consideration of points of law is a matter for the judiciary. I understand that Mr. Johnson won his industrial tribunal case for unfair dismissal and was awarded compensation in lieu of reinstatement. He subsequently applied to the tribunal chairman for a review of two aspects of the decision, but this request was refused. I am advised that Mr. Johnson was informed of this decision on 24 May 1995.
