§ The Attorney-GeneralThe Solicitor-General took through the House of Commons the Statute Law (Repeals) Act 1995 which effected the repeal of certain obsolete and unnecessary local enactments. Subject to this, no Acts of Parliament affecting local government have been introduced by my Department since January 1994.
