HC Deb 23 November 1995 vol 267 c259W
Mr. Foulkes

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many Royal Air Force Harrier GR.7 aircraft have had their inertial navigation system modified to 1075G standard; what plans he has to apply this modification to the entire Harrier GR.7 fleet; and what is the total cost of the programme. [1287]

Mr. Arbuthnot

Twenty-nine of the 1075 standard inertial navigation system sets, as fitted to the Harrier GR7, were converted to the 1075G standard at a total cost of approximately £600,000. There are no plans to convert any more sets to the 1075G standard.
