To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the total cost to the public funds of the Ordtech trials. [1023]

It is not possible at this stage to give a total cost to the public funds of the Ordtech trials. Legal fees paid to date by HM Customs and Excise, as prosecuting authority, amount to £175,808.
