To ask the Prime Minister what response Her Majesty's Government have sent to the Libyan request that a trial takes place in The Hague under a Scottish judge, under Scottish rules of evidence, of the two Libyans accused of the bombing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie. [1632]

The Government of Libya have made no direct representation to us, but our position remains that there is no acceptable alternative to the trial taking place in Scotland or the United States.
