To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he will be in a position to reply to the letter from the hon. Member for Oldham, West of 27 October following up the meeting with the former Under-Secretary on 22 August concerning the case of Atia Idrees, J242872. [469]

Inquiries into Miss Idrees's case are continuing. I will write to the hon. Member shortly detailing the current situation.
